Threat Modeling

After identifying threats for an application or device, SpearTip will work with your team to conduct Threat Modeling to build a remediation plan to combat  threats.

Threat Modeling involves a six-step process:

1. Identify Intellectual Property
2. Identify the Corporate Initiatives
3. Identify the Threats
4. Document the Threats
5. Rate the likelihood of the Threats

A mitigation strategy should be developed for each threat according to the likelihood and impact of a successful attack. Each strategy should be decided according to risk level and the cost of mitigation. SpearTip helps our clients’ model and mitigate these constantly evolving threats.
