A method of evaluating the security of a computer system or network by simulating an attack by a malicious user.

Penetration Testing is conducted to find weaknesses in an organization’s network access methods.  This process often finds hidden weaknesses in network security that could allow hackers to gain unauthorized and stealthy access to a client’s network. Most flaws are exposed in network security configuration settings using penetration-testing techniques.
