ST. LOUIS • A De Soto man on Wednesday admitted hacking into his former employer’s computer system and deleting and otherwise disrupting company data.
Jason Schrum, 32, waived indictment by a grand jury and pleaded guilty in federal court here Wednesday to a felony charge of damaging a protected computer.
As part of his plea, Schrum admitted that after he was terminated, he accessed the computer system belonging to Axis Worldwide Supply Chain & Logistics, headquartered in Chesterfield, through the use of the user names and passwords of others.
